The Lovers Socks

The Lovers (1928) is an oil painting depicting two people locked in an embrace. The figures are kissing through veils. They are in a room where the back wall, side wall and ceiling are visible. The back wall is blue-grey with a lighter shade in the lower half and a darker shade in the upper half.
