Craft Across Continents Contemporary Japanese and Western Objects
Craft Across Continents Contemporary Japanese and Western Objects
Craft Across Continents offers an intriguing selection of over 50 works from Japanese and Western makers. Half of the volume focuses on pieces from Japan, and the other on creations from Europe and the U.S. In an exclusive section, uncoated paper displays an interview with the collectors and images of their home and the pieces they've collected. Included are masterworks in ceramics by Kino and Ogawa and pieces of bamboo and other objects. Recently, 20+ pieces from Japan, an indigo resist-dyed wall hanging by Ricketts, multi-generational bamboo sculptures, as well as glass sculptures, Møhl's installation, Skibska's mobile, and Mason's glazed ceramic vessel have been added to the Collection.
