Hunt of the Forest Tie

This bright and busy silk tie features dashing dogs and hurrying hounds over bright red ground. The animals are elements from the painting 'Hunt in the Forest' by the Florentine painter and mathematician Paolo Uccello (1397-1475).

Paolo Uccello (1397–1475) was an Italian painter notable for his contributions to the early Renaissance art movement. Born Paolo di Dono, "Uccello", meaning "bird" in Italian is a nickname acquired on account of his passion for painting birds.
