Stag Beetle Pendant
Made by Audrey Laine of Asheville, NC.
Stag beetles are named for their large mandibles, resembling the antlers of a stag. This one is most likely a "Lesser Stag Beetle", because its size is a bit smaller than most species.
This piece is cast in bronze and sterling silver using an actual stag beetle Laine found in eastern Tennessee to make the mold. "S" closure.
